Why Solara Exists
Solara Sanctuary began with a simple knowing:
that something slower, more human, and more connected to the land was needed.
Solara is a place to slow down, to reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the land, and create memories that actually matter.
From reading in a hammock, to sharing clean farm-to-table meals, to learning skills that stay with you for life, Solara is about coming home to a more balanced way of being human.
Solara exists to bring people together to create community, friendships, and shared experiences. To learn at whatever level you’re at. To slow down. To reconnect. To create moments that leave a lasting impression.
We offer what we can, from where we are, with love in service of a more balanced human experience.
Who We Are
We’re Melissa and Jesse.
After years of working, building, and living in fast-paced systems, we chose a different path, one rooted in land stewardship, honesty, and shared responsibility.
Melissa is a guide, healer, and catalyst for change who believes that true transformation starts from within. Her life’s work is now devoted to healing humanity, protecting the Earth, and leading others who are ready toward a conscious living.
Jesse is a master problem solver and intuitive teacher who blends logic and intuition to offer guidance, solutions, and profound insights. He stands as a pillar of strength, helping to lay the foundation of Solara Sanctuary and guiding others toward truth and growth.
We didn’t arrive at Solara with a master plan or unlimited resources.
We arrived with a willingness to learn, to build slowly, and to let the land and the work shape us as much as we shape it.
